Numoon Fest

We had a really really nice evening at the Numoon fest in Lantaren/venster Rotterdam. We played in lantaren/vensters' oldest cinema room, people sitting and clapping instead of dancing and talking. Great sound engineer, great public, really cool other acts. The members of pourquoi will go into rehab, write some new songs and we are planning to record a new album this summer. We'll keep you posted!

Facials, Pr0n and other news

We did some recordings with 3 shiny happy art students, the stuff is being blended right now and hopefully almost ready for serving, hope we cooked something tastefull. No christmas and sinterklaas for pourquoi, december is filled with nice gigs. We play at the Numoon fest in lantaren/venster! personally i love moons, i just love things i can't get in my possession because they are so big.

Oh and i fixed the guestbook, another missing part of this crappy site

Den Bosch & Recordings

Soooo, yesterday we played in "de muzerije" in den bosch, again for "de popronde". Real cool stage prepared solely for our pleasure. Great sound, a wall of mirrors behind us, great audience who even wanted to be quiet during some minimal songs.

Furthermore, Pourquoi is ready to tape again. Some really nice cool dudes of the arts' school Utrecht (HKU) choose our silly little group for a recording and producing class. This is going to be really really nice!

Exhausted

We had a great, cool gig for "de popronde" in Maastricht. John Mullins is a nice irish pub. First our friends Mucho Maestro were drowned in their own sweat during their best performance ever, really really cool! John Mullins should now be renamed into Cafe Bellevue.

After Mucho Maestro it was showtime for Pourquoi me reveiller. For sure this was the most electrifying pourquoi show ever. Ten thousands of volts through our lips and we are still glooming in the dark. Again people dancing! Again people buying lots of cd's! People really start to get very cool these days, as they even asked us to sign the cd's. The members of pourquoi get horny by signing cd's!
After this amazing evening we brought our stuff to our hotel and went out for a good amount of junkfood. The local Kebab retailer gave us free lollypops, such a happy suck. Fallus created a nice huge bob ©. Lauging and coughing we went to the hotel.

Our hotel turned into Dante's Inferno. Walls made of paper, drunk tourists pretending to be the drummer of Strapping young lad while doing a performance on their toilet seats. Ducks floating by and raping each other while screaming for help and joy. Great! I even saw Satan himself in his underwear, but perhaps I was dreaming.

2 minutes of sleep and 250 km's to go for the next show in Zwolle. The semi-finals of "De grote Prijs van Nederland". Our show in Zwolle was quite a disaster, broken microphone and too exhausted to play a decent set. Thanks to Henno's brand new blowjob t-shirt we had a lot of fun. We were very happy to see that the best band of the evening, Good dog happy man. Won a one-way ticket to the finals.

Yeah nice!

We had a real nice religious experience in cafe camelot during the opening night of the Popronde. Great sound, great audience some of whom suddenly started dancing and buying lots of cd's. Thanks for that! Furthermore we are busy planning to record some new stuff, since our old cd is a bit outdated, though still very cheap :D

Furthermore we didn't had any time to decently clean our asses after toilet bussiness, let alone updating this site to a decent one, sorry for that.

A little update

As you see we have a new shiny not yet so well working website with lots of malfunctioning hooters and bells. Spammers already seem to have overdosed the poor guestbook on Viagra, it died in vengeance and we're doing everything we can to reanimate the poor bastard. Fuuuurthermore, we seem to have made it to the 3/4 finals of "de grote prijs van nederland", the sequel continues!

Next friday, tomorrow actually we will play in Nijmegen, the openingsevening of "de popronde". Gig starts at noon in cafe camelot, entrance free. De Popronde brings us more fun, we will play in Den bosch and maastricht, take a look at the gigs section.
